A master cylinder is a crucial component of a truck's brake system. It serves as the main force amplifier and hydraulic control unit for the brakes.

The primary function of the master cylinder is to convert the driver's foot pressure on the brake pedal into hydraulic pressure that can be transmitted to the wheels to activate the braking mechanism.
